In addition to our regular Sunday guided tours at 3 p.m., it is possible to book guided tours for individual groups through each exhibition. Private groups of friends are just as welcome as school classes of all types and ages, as are student seminars from colleges and universities. There is a special program for children aged 6–10 (The Photo Detectives).

For schools and universities, it is possible to arrange guided tours with thematic focuses that tie in with teaching topics. Appointments are also possible outside regular opening hours, for example in the mornings. Tours for school classes are designed to be age-appropriate and participatory.

Guided tours for children from 6–10 years
Photographs, whether in color or in black and white, can tell us a lot. They can tell us about the people they depict, but they can also show houses, villages and towns, as well as landscapes, plants and animals that we may never have seen before. In the changing exhibitions of Die Photographische Sammlung/SK Stiftung Kultur, themes like these can be seen by artists from different times and countries.
When the Photo Detectives visit an exhibition, they look at pictures together, listen to stories, and learn many new and exciting things. And then there is the opportunity to make something themselves. Depending on the theme of the exhibition, for example, they make their own photographs or do handicrafts, sculpt, glue, paint, play, guess ...
In addition to the public dates of the Photo Detectives, we also offer them as children's birthday parties. Dates for this can be arranged individually with us.
