In addition to the events mentioned above, members of the Society of Patrons have free admission to the exhibitions and when attending sponsored events, the opportunity to book individual guided tours for guests or family with the curators, and special conditions when purchasing editions.

Activities
The Society of Patrons of Die Photographische Sammlung/SK Stiftung Kultur, Cologne e. V. and its members have supported the institution with a variety of different activities in recent years.

Concerto for August Sander
CD with pieces by Paul Hindemith, Willi Ostermann, Paul Scheinpflug, Richard Strauss, Ernst Toch, Hermann Unger

The CD is based on a concert performed as part of the exhibition "August Sander - Masterpieces and Discoveries", at the Mediapark 7, Cologne
Performance and production were generously supported by Ulla Bartenbach and Prof. Dr. Kurt Bartenbach as well as the Society of Patrons.
2017
Purchase of the 10-part work "Ode to August Sander," 1981, by the Dutch artist Hans Eijkelboom for the collection.
2016
Under the motto "Seitenblicke" (side views), the possibility of presenting young artists and young positions in photography for exhibition projects is forming. These projects take place with the personal and financial support of the Society of Patrons.
Nico Joana Weber: Selva Negra
The artist Nico Joana Weber was selected as the first artistic position for the project "Seitenblicke". With her cabinet exhibition "Selva Negra" she has created a multimedia installation that has combined photography, video and sculptural aspects.
“The typological view – Exhibition for Hilla Becher”
Special sponsorship by individual members of the Society of Patrons to organize an exhibition in memory of Hilla and Bernd Becher. Included were works by over 45 former students of the artist couple.

Photography in School – Collecting/Comparing/Documenting / Project Bernd and Hilla Becher
Special project funding of the cooperation of the archiepiscopal Suitbertus-Gymnasium in Düsseldorf Kaiserswerth and Die Photographische Sammlung/SK Stiftung Kultur, with publication.
